Lecturer: CERES-manager, Associate Professor of the Department of Electrometallurgy, Oleksandr Zhadanos
At the invitation of the INTERPIPE Training Center, CERES Manager Oleksandr Zhadanos, Associate Professor of the Department of Electrometallurgy of the National Metallurgical Academy of Ukraine, (Dnipro, Ukraine) delivered lectures to the employees of the metallurgical company INTERPIPE STEEL. Lectures took place from 01st to 16th of March 2018 at the Technical Training Center of INTERPIPE STEEL — Drive to knowledge.
Lectures were prepared with the technical and advisory assistance of the Youth Information Center that was created within the framework of the Joint European Tempus Project «Centers of Excellence for young RESearchers » (CERES) 544137-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-SK-TEMPUS-JPHES.
Topic of lectures – «Fundamentals of crystallization process of the steel billet on Continuous Casting Machine (CCM). Defects of the continuously casted billets».
During the lectures students have got new knowledge about the technological particularities of the continuous casting of wheel and pipe types of steels that significantly allowed them to improve their professional level.
